Since the launch of AFT’s Saving Lives, Building Futures, Powering the Economy campaign last September, AFT and AAUP members have achieved historic milestones, including:
- – Successfully lobbying Congress to protect science research funding.
- – Defeating the Trump higher education “compact.”
- – Winning collective bargaining rights for thousands of nontenure-track faculty and staff in Maryland.
- – Launching the new policy platform: “A Blueprint for Strengthening and Transforming Higher Education.”
