May 1 – Worker’s Day March & Rally

May 1 is International Workers’ Day. Join us for a rally and show of solidarity in showing that civil rights = workers’ rights. Workers’ rights are human rights. Same struggle, same fight. We will meet at the Hawaii State Capitol at 5:00 pm. Then we will march down to the Prince Kuhio Federal Building and rally there. Review the Talking Points which presents a unified message to the media.

National Association of Letter Carriers’ Food Drive

Each year, the Hawaii State AFL-CIO is proud to sponsor the Food Drive in partnership with our sister unions.  This year will be the 25th anniversary and we ask again for assistance to help in this humanitarian endeavor by volunteering on May 13th to sort the donated food.  Volunteer Forms are due by April 28, 2017. We greatly appreciate your support in this essential food drive and for providing support to Hawaii's families in need.
