LGBT Pride Events on O'ahu & Kaua'i
Once again this June, we celebrate Pride Month in honor of the June 1969 Stonewall Riots, which began the modern movement for lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, and transgender civil rights. For the first time, Pride At Work Hawai'i will be participating in Pride events on two islands (O'ahu and Kaua'i).

EUTF Premium Rates for Faculty in Bargaining Unit 7 Not Yet Determined
The Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (EUTF) have posted the July 1, 2013 rate sheets with the employer/employee contribution splits for bargaining units 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 on their website. However, the employer/employee contributions for bargaining units 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 are not listed because they still do not have official word what the employer contributions will be.

All faculty members (1/2 time or more) of the UH system are included by state law in bargaining unit 7. Annual dues of 1% of your salary is made through payroll deduction. To become an UHPA/NEA member, complete the UHPA Membership Application.
