A “Futures of Higher Education” course will be offered this fall semester on Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at UH-Manoa. Professor James Dator, Director of the Hawaii Research Center for Futures Studies, will be offering a Pols 770 Public Policy seminar and at the same time, Professor Ray Yeh, former Dean of the School of Architecture, will be offering a workshop in Architecture. The course will assess relevant alternative futures and then design processes of higher education that are appropriate to them. The course will also include an understanding of the history and current status of higher education worldwide. Students and faculty are invited.
