Workers Coming Out Day Forum on Kaua’i – October 4, 2012

Pride At Work Hawai'i (P@WHI), which advocates for full equality and inclusiveness for LGBT workers, and PFLAG (Parents Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) Kaua‘i, which promotes the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends, are presenting a FREE community forum in celebration of National Coming Out Day to raise awareness of what it means for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people to be out and open in their workplaces and unions. The event is supported by grants from the Ah Quon McElrath Fund for Economic and Social Justice, the Hawai‘i Peoples Fund and the Hawai‘i Community Foundation.
